What it’s like to live here

  • Big Beaver Road is the city’s main business corridor, home to Somerset Collection and its more than 180 stores, plus restaurants and offices.
  • Getting around: I-75 runs through the city, with quick access to Birmingham, Rochester and Detroit.
  • Schools: Troy School District serves most of the city. Six other districts serve small parts: Avondale, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Royal Oak, Warren Consolidated and Lamphere. Check the address with the district before you buy.
